Imagine, for a second, that Dante is a heroin addict and Beatrice isn’t breathing.
He finds Her slumped on the kitchen floor amidst a crumbling and high-speed dystopia. One more hit then he’ll definitely tell someone.
But for now She’s going to keep Herself alive, by taking Him through His nine circles of personal Hell.

Selected and performed as part of the The Script Readers programme at Theatre Royal Stratford East this is Serafina’s first full length collaboration with Henry C Krempels (Arcola, VAULT 2018, Theatre 503, Young Vic Freshworks) Lead Director of Anima Theatre Company.
Serafina is a writer whose unique stream of consciousness style tackles mental health and youth culture. Although only 21, she started work as a playwright six years ago with her 1st production Rebel, Rebel at Theatre503. Since then she has had 23 runs of 13 plays, including Failing at Failing at The Royal Court and SQUIRM at The King’s Head and Theatre503.
She is currently Associate Artist at Good Wolf.
